As directed by NMPED MVCSD will be closed for three weeks beginning Monday March 16th through April 6th. Here is some information for the upcoming three-week period;
Instructional plans will go out on Monday to students. What that will look like will vary based on grade level. For some student is will be hard copy packets for others is might be distance learning or both. This is an exciting period for our district as we make our attempt at a blended learning environment. If you do not have internet, I am working with Kit Carson to come up with a plan. More information about our academic plan will be released to families prior to Monday.
Also, all Athletics and activities have been canceled until further notice. This means no practices; track meets or baseball games.
Lastly, meals will be distributed along the bus routes for all our students, beginning Monday March 16th. We will send enough food for both a breakfast and lunch every day for each student. We are working on times for delivery and will have that plan in place by Sunday. Parents will be able to pick up meals for students daily at our Ojo Calinete and El Rito campus.
